Well, according to the GM press release here|http://media.gm.com/servlet/GatewaySe it is.

Twinturbo, 400 bhp Bio-Power engine - which of course means AWD as well, even Saab isn't bonkers enough to channel that amount of grunt through the fronts (though some Saab owners actually are ). Insiders say it's about the size of a DB9 built on an all-new platform.

Sounds a bit unreal for GM to lash out on Saab - does this mean they're indeed propping the brand up to aid a quick sale?

And how many different cars have YOU driven/assessed for magazines, Shapey? Here, 350+ and counting...

Sorry, but I'll rather continue to trust my own judgement for now...

as an aside, can someone give Shapey the PH award for the most senseless revival of a dead old thread?

Hardly surprising, since I posted that four months ago - now the car has been out in the open (and featured by every self-respecting magazine in the world) I reckon there wouldn't be any reason for GM to continue wasting bandwith with its pre-Geneva press release....

Says the man who's been trawling through old threads in the Saab section

Do you have problems with reading?

Maybe you should drive one, you might be surprised? No, second thoughts, we don't want ignorant bigots bringing the marque down!

Oh, and it's "gynaecologist"

Oh yes, shapeshifter - my skip on wheels has done nearly 150k miles.

How many engine rebuilds will your Tuscan engine have had by then I wonder?

Hmmmmm... ... GM selling off the family silver, or a disgruntled employee in a bid to create his/her own pension fund?
