Can't help you with the garages, but I've been looking for insurance on a 9-3 SE T and Admiral have been the cheapest with the best policy (there was one cheaper but it didn't include protected no claims). Hopefully (!) buying insurance on Sarturday.

Admiral was cheapest I've found as well, but heard some bad things regarding their total loss payouts only covering the base model, not any options, i.e. being a liitle on the low side

Hi, I live in the same area.

There are a few Indys around.

Cromwell Saab in Sydenham - I have to say I have heard mixed reports about them. They did a quick fix on something on my car - couple of the guys seemed fine, but there was an older bloke who was quite rude and very miserable!

Orpington Saab - Again, I have heard mixed reviews.

I have heard of a place in Tonbridge I think called South East Saab who are supposedly very good, bloke who works there is a chap called Rowan.

I get all my work done at West Midlands Saab in Birmingham who are excellent, but my folks live round the corner so it's not a problem for me.

Do a search on some of the UK Saab forums for more info

Oh yes, Chris Knott are supposed to be good for Saabs (cheaper if you have SOC membership I think), although weren't great for me. I am with Footman James.

First Alternative cover mine.

Sister company eSure were about the same price.

But it does depend on what cover you need. Previously I was with Liverpool Victoria on a different car. Come renewal the price shot up for some reason. Cover included Continental travel - which I did not want. They could not take it off so I changed to an almost identical policy with First Alternative without continental cover and saved the money.

Can't help on the service front but I am very happy with the service from my local dealer. Not cheap but they have been excellent so far.

Great choice of car btw, especially if it an 02MY or later.
