other than her saying it is a saab aero convertible i dont know!! i have just had a quick read on google and appaerntly they are prone to blocking the pick up pipes up and the level senders going faulty!!
You know what it's like, it could be the switch, it could be a bad earth, it could be that the oil pumps knackered and the engine is seconds away from seizing.
Call the RAC/AA and get them to check it out?

Right bit more info! its not an oil light coming up its the onboard computer that says you need oil fill now!! goes off then comes back in 3 days? saab 93 2006
Sounds odd, I had trouble with the sensors on my 2002 93 when it was new. Assuming this car is really only a month max old (do you really mean 2006?) then lob it back at the dealer, they'll put it through diagnostic and identify the problem. Not really worth pissing around with it.
The 9-3 & 9-5 T7/B235R engined (presume it's a T7 as the "Aero" word was mentioned) cars are prone to oil sludge killing the engine, but if it's a 2006, I can't see oil sudge blocking up the pathways to the sump so soon. Unless the engine never really gets hot enough to clear the condensation.
Loads of info on the regular UK/International SAAB forums (and Google) about the problem.
