Erm....if you mean the M5 then unfortunately no. unfortunately it was a nightmare as a daily driver/school run/ stuck in traffic. Wifey was quite happy for me to have it but meant choosing between the Tvr or that....so tvr won.
We have a Volvo S60 instead now....which I must admit is absolutely marvellous...and this saab while the TVR is off the road having some tlc given to it.
I still 'need' the xjr though. You still have the monster?

Both for just over a bag o'sand. Nice work captain.
Its quite challengeing this budget car buying, anybody car buy a nice car for lots of ££££'s (and I'm glad they do! ) but theres something really rewarding about baggin a minter for buttons
How about these for impressive stats.
4.5ltrs, 12 Cylinders, 36 valves, 320bhp / Exec Saloon (the 520) & 4st Convertible (E30 325i Cab) = £2000
Result Big Smiles
I'm starting to resent the money I've got tied up in the Elan... think its got to go! lol

Sure have, although I'm getting itchy feet again and will probably sell it before spring. I'm open to offers Mike!
Shame the BMW had to go, but I think you made the right choice in keeping the TVR.
I'm with you on the cheap runners as well, we bought a Pug 106 for £400 a few months ago. It's saved me a fortune over the winter months and hasn't let me down once. What's more it's quite a novelty driving something so dinky - makes a pleasant change parking up at Tescos!

Like it Mike,
Can you do me a favour? When you decide to get rid of it can you let me know? I may be interested if i've finished uni.
No problem, will do, but I don't think I'll have it long as the Tvr won't take too long to get back in action.
Might get an insurance quote. My friends brother was interested in buying mine at some point in the future

Looks nice Mike. Can't believe you sold the Beemer though, e34 M5 is on my list of dream cars to own!
(Mind you, so's a TVR S )
Must admit Mike, I take my hat off to you, I would love to chop and change like you do, don't know where you find all those great bargains!
I know, the M5 was a nice car, I had always wanted an E34 model, but it was daft to use it as a daily driver in choked up traffic. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to keep that and the Tiv, so something had to give
Auctions are good for bargains, as is ebay, but don't overlook the local 'trade it' type rags, they are surprisingly good for cheapies. It's good fun too.
Hope you enjoy it Chris, you shouldn't have any problems with it.......Forgot when you were at my house, I have a brand new set of roof bars for it if you want them.
There is a spare ecu in the spare wheel well, along with a few abs sensors, and fuel filter, along with the radiator, washer bottle bla bla bla in the boot!
