Mate - there is no way you are getting to drive a TVR wearing that vest

I dont think you could go to further extremes of car!

Nice choice of TVR by far the best IMO.Will it be used daily or as a plaything?
What sort of price are you expecting for the Saab and as an insult what were you offered as a trade in?

This is purely just being nosey!

But helps me guage what mine is really worth

Daily driver with wifes corsa as back up, the Saab is in the classifieds at £10,500. the nearest Saab dealer offered me £10,000 but that was on a new Saab. Trade in's against Tvr's are low so I will sell it private and see if that car is still available

Good luck with the sale, keep us posted during and after the sale as I looked into a cerb as a daily driver a couple of years back but decided against it after taking advice from a few owners who recommended buying a nail for the daily drive and keeping the cerb as a toy. I cant do that as dont have the space/desire to run 3 cars.

I thought advertising was meant to be in the Classifieds section. Or is it just me that thought that

Have you tried ebay?
Didn't get a sniff after 3 weeks on Autotrader with my wife's Celica - put it on ebay and got loads of emails, and sold 2 days later to a cash buyer.
Cheaper than Autotrader as well to advertise

No mate I haven't tried E-bay yet, I've got it on here and on Saab central and there are stickers in the windows and I leave it on sainsburys car park where people have to walk past it on aaturdays.

I thought you were looking for a white one?

I'm interested in the Saab yes, but only if you throw in some of your rather snappy vests and a couple of pairs of (preferably unused!) speedos, you flash git!!

Its a shame that the Saab forum is not used much, I can only assume its because we drive Saabs and are therefore all smug as nothing really goes wrong ! (touch wood)

It always used to be that soft tops were hard to shift at this time of year but I read a report somewhere that this was not really the case anymore as the modern roofs are much better through the winter .Having had various mg's triumphs etc from the 70's I can vouch its true!
