9-3 power upgrade

I saw a 9-3 Aero at a Saab garage with a 252bhp saab approved upgrade. Anybody had any expereince of this?

Also, I am considering whether to try to stretch to the new V6 but it does not seem to add much for the additional price. It seems a low bhp for the size of the engine. Anybody got any thoughts?

Saabs approve of Hirsch so it sounds like a hirsch stage 2 perhaps

yes the power for the displacement is pretty weedy imho
especially as the latest 9-5 aero 2.3 is putting out 260 hp...

Who does the V6? Is it a GM unit? Turbocharger? Sorry, not up on the newfangled models
