2004 Saab 9-3

Evening all

I’m looking at buying a 2004 Saab 9-3. The guy has said the fob doesn’t work and he just leaves it unlocked and that “there is no way to lock with the key”.

I was under the impression most cars like this had a lock on the drivers door, under a cover on the handle? Is this correct that there is no way to lock it with the key?

You’re correct, you can remove the key blade from the fob and use it in the lock on the passenger door handle. It might be under a cover (hence why it’s been missed) but it’s definitely there.
