Is there anyone running a stage 3 (c.300hp - downpipe + remap) 9-5 out there that can give me an idea of the 0-60? I know it is loathed as a measure by some (and Saabs are more about in gear acceleration) but I find it very useful to compare! I owned a 2.8 V6 which I am missing badly but have been offered a good deal on a 9-5 - keen to see how they compare performance wise

Having done further research, the Hirsch 9-5 tuning package which gives 300hp and 400nm torque has a stated 0-60 of 6.5s
As you’ve said, 0-60 is not where these excel, it mid range shove for overtaking. I only have a 2.0 lpt, albeit remapped to 225hp, but that’s torque limited in first to save the gearbox so you only get full boost in second. The front suspension is ancient so you’ll never put down a stellar 0-60. Low to mid 6s sounds about right.wormus said:

My map only gave full boost in 3rd and about half boost in second.Gassing Station | Saab | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
