93 cab roof problem
Discussion
The roof on my 93 convertible is catching on the rubber seal on it's way out of the stowage compartment on the drivers side, ands it's starting to fray.I think it may need to be reset so that the roof comes out more centrally.Phil(mustard) suggests a roof fitter rather than a dealer, does anybody know where there is a roof fitter in the midlands?
Thanks in advance Dougie:thumbup:.

You're not supposed to use the darned thing you know!
Sorry, don't know a roof fitter but could ask my local dealer in Derby what they do if you get stuck.
How about doing something to the rubber seal instead. Or failing that investing in a pair of snips and modifyibng the bodywork to which the rubber seal attaches ... ?

If you're in the Midlands give Paul or John a ring at West Midlands Saab, I am sure they will see you right.
Thanks mate the roof is now sorted and coming out clear of the seal all I need now is a seamstess or a roof fitter to stitch the tiny hole in the seam that holds the wiring.I will be joining Saab central when I get back off holiday maybe someone on there has had a similar problem, and it's probably the best place to sell mine at the end of the year..
