Hello all,

I’ve had my 2008 2.8 from 5 months old. Before its third birthday I treated it to the Hirsch upgrade. Some years later I had the dreaded wot misfire but got a garage to fit cooler plugs which cured it for a while.
Anyway the car doesn’t get used an awful lot and I suffered a few misfires on a run earlier in the week so bought new Bosch 112 coils and the cooler ngk plugs.
Fitted it all in a few hours today ( very pleased with myself and I invented some new swear words in the process) and a quick check with the obd reader shows no more misfires and it pulls well until it gets to the red boost zone and then loses some power.
Issue is the eml came on and obd shows barometric pressure sensor low
Thinking I might have disturbed the connection I disconnected and then reconnected the MAP sensor but no change. I’ve ordered a replacement but does anyone have any ideas as to what I’ve done wrong? By the way I understand ( possibly incorrectly) that the MAP sensor I am referring to is the one bolted to the top of the rear of the block and is not connected to anything on the sensor side. It is open to the atmosphere as the v6 uses this for barometric pressure sensing.
