1992 saab 900 possible ecu problem
Discussion
HI Iam new to this forum and new to saabs hoping someone may be able to shed a little light on this saab no start problem
I recently picked up a non running saab 900 turbo 16v 1992 convertible.
Its seems to have a problem with fuel delivery and injectors
So i checked that fuel pump works and it does
Engine will turn over and fire if i put gas (butane) direct into the airbox
There is no power at the Injectors or fuel pump
Is it possible or likely this is the ecu module located in the driver footwell rhs drive car.
Any info much appreciated

I would be surprised if this is the ECU at this stage. The injectors are usually supplied with a 12v supply, and the ECU earths the 12v on the downstream side of the injectors. If you're not getting 12v to the injectors, it sounds like your problem is there. Check the engine control relay first (or wherever the 12v feed comes from). You can temporarily bridge it out to see if the engine starts.
