Sat Nav query

ive just bought a 2004 9-5 Aero with a Kenwood KNA-DV2200 sat nav installed.When i switch it on error comes up with insert correct disc.Do i need to get a disc and where from would appreciate some advice as its my first car with sat nav.

I assume you've searched the car high and low for a Kenwood CD? I only ask because the Saab I've just bought had a set of brand new number plates and a Freddie Mercury CD in the spare tyre well lol.

The system you have is old and I couldn't find a reasonably priced one (part number KNA-MP228 it seems). I did find this: http://navishop24.de/product_info.php/manufacturer... for 329Euros! It's possible one might pop up on Ebay if you search for your sat nav model number every now and again. There are, ahem, alternative ways of sourcing these things but it's probably against the forum rules.

Your best bet, if you can't source one, might actually be to bite the bullet and replace the head unit with an aftermarket alternative.
