Hi guys,

I have a 2010 Saab 93 TTiD and this morning as my wife was driving the car the Left hand indicator is going off. In the middle position it signals left in the down position it signals left and in the up position to signal right- nothing.

So we can't signal right which is obviously a problem...

After a quick google to see if others have had this problem it keeps coming back with replacing a computer part which is a bit pricy... I am not too handy on cars so hoping theres a better solution.
Anyone ever had this?
We are based in derbyshire- I am assuming it would need a saab specialist for this kind of thing- does anyone have any recommendations, I think it will be beyond our local garage.

Bit stuck.

Thankyou in advance.

Hi there

I'm new to Saab, but have been fixing a few bits myself on my new/old 9-3.

From what I've read, it does point to the CIM which is the expensive part you've mentioned. Having said that, there does seem to be repair options available such as these guys: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAAB-93-9-3-9440-03-12M...

This will require the part to be removed and posted to them though unfortunately. Still cheaper than having an entire new CIM fitted I believe.

If I come across anything else useful, I'll let you know.

Thankyou for the info.
Tonight a friend pulled out the stalk and rammed it back in and amazingly it started working as normal.
Had disconnected the battery before hat and it did nothing- interestingly the windows don’t auto up now which is odd.

Will see how long it all lasts.
