So I've done a bit of reading around and it seems Saab want my car to use orange Dex-cool coolant. However, mine appears to have pink coolant in it.

It's a little low (a centimetre or so below the MIN line) so I'd like to top it up.

Question is - what kind of coolant should I be adding? Or should I get it flushed and replace all of the coolant with the Dex-cool?

I'm guessing just bunging some bog-standard supermarket blue won't help.

Cheers for any help!

Super, shall do.

In the meantime I've topped it up to the line with a bit of distilled water and it's been behaving itself nicely.

(Apart from the dipped beam bulb it chose to blow today.)

Just topped it up again with a bit of distilled water as I got the low coolant warning again.

Is it normal to need to top it up every 3 weeks...? It's not running like it has HGF looming so I'm inclined to just keep topping it up as and when it needs it. I'm not seeing any puddles or any obvious leaks.
