So I've just picked up a 99 Saab 93 convertible for a 'get to work car' but it has a few issues I want to sort. Both the air con and info SID's don't show up as pixels have gone. Are these a plug in replacement? Also the heater/air con seems to only work when it fancies it!is this a common issue?

Also I've had a new cat and exhaust fitted and now I get the following code when starting PO135 which I believe is lambda heater sensor??

sid and climate display are plug and play. expect the climate to do some odd stuff for a couple of minutes when you power it up - it's running the climate diagnostics. this will give you a fault code when it completes and direct you to the cause of the intermittent climate control.

check the fuse for the sensor - they do fail. it needs to reach a certain temp by a certain time after start up so check the things that might prevent this - stat, wiring etc. the sensor itself can be tested off the car but i don't quite remember the values - will be "google-able"
