What to do? Scrap or sell?

hi all, I'm asking for a bit of advice on how to move my poor old saab 93 on. The CIM unit has failed (at least i think thats what it is) and the steering is locked. For me, it's not viable to fix so I was going to get it scrapped, but...is this the best thing to do? It still has has an MOT and ran as well as any 12 year old car and still looks good. Its just a PITA to fix because the steering is locked out on me. I was about to call a scrap dealer, but it seems a shame. I guess this happens to all cars at some point!

CIM's aren't as expensive as you might believe. Search eBay and then get someone with Tech2 to replace it (if it is the issue). Could be the ISM too.
