95 Aero loss of power

Overtaking a car the engine lost power, orange warning light and started donkeying under load. Like a limp home mode. Managed to nurse car back to garage. Was fine under 2000 revs. Anything over and the donkeying starts again. Any ideas? Turbo?

First thing I'd look for would be a pipe that's come off. Could be anywhere on the pressure side from the turbo or intercooler. I'd also look at the pipes on the APC unit. I'd check the wastegate rod's still attached to the arm.

Cheers. I thought the turbo had gone. Turns out it's a potentiometer in the throttle. £70 fix. Phew!
