Hi all,

Looking at a 2nd car and interested in the 95 1.9 diesel.

A car I'm looking at has this gem on its MOT history...

rear parking (secondary) brake imbalance requirements only just met. It would appear that the braking system requires adjustment or repair. (3.7.B.6b)

Recent MOT shows this issue as not reported, although pads need changing. Should I be concerned that this is still present?

Any help much appreciated!

How long ago?

Looks like maybe only one side of the rear axle was good enough on the handbrake test. Could have been a sticky caliper or a stretched cable or purely bad adjustment. I'd just check that the handbrake is good enough when you test drive it!

Many thanks - similar to what I was thinking i.e., hoping it is just generic and not something quirky on the 95 - looking at making the trip so many thanks.
