My average mpg has gone from 22/23 - 32mpg over the last 500miles. It still suffers from turbo lag setting off (auto) but bloody hell it's savage mid gear

Noob? i'm on a Stage 3+ Noob, and it's hilarious, just gathering the kit to go to Stage 5 ( 385bhp and 580nm)
It's bloody addictive, so watch out..

My manual aero 9-5 is stage 1. It's brutal mid range, making overtaking effortless.

Like yourself I find it a little sluggish at low revs, but once the revs build the torque curve is very flat on the stage 1 so it pulls hard from about 2.5k rpm and is then relentless.
