Saab 9-3 convertible for hire

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum side of this website, but have decided to plunge myself into it in order to try and realize a cray idea i have. I'm best man to my best mate who is getting married next month and apart from being bestowed with the honour of the best man speech and getting the groom royally drunk on his stag do, I really wanted to do something special for him with transport to the wedding. He's the proud owner of 9-3 Aero turbo Diesel. He loves his car, i'm surprised his girlfriend got a look-in with a marriage proposal! So one of the things i wanted to do was make sure i get him to the wedding in style. I've looked into hiring a sports car - which is quite pricey for a weekend. So then i looked at Prestige cars and convertibles, but as nice as they are, BMW's, Mercs and Audi's are all the same to me and don't really provide anything to standout from the crowd.

So i had a brain wave! What if i could get him to the church in Saab 9-3 convertible??!!! It has all the elements i'm looking for - classy, sprty, unique and of course it would go down really well with the groom as he loves his 9-3.

To go for something really specifc like this if difficult however without actually buying the convertible!!! I've tries sites like "easycar" where you can rent from local people but sadly no Saab convertibles to be found. So i thought i'd put this topic out there into the PistonHeads Saab community to see if anyone would be willing to help me achieve my goal. The idea i have in my head is that if anyone has a Saab convertible they would be willing to loan me for the day/weekend then we would agree some simple terms along with rental price and also get some insurance for that period sorted too.

So there it is, it's crazy - i know. But if anyone is willing to help add a touch of relevance and class to his big day then please respond. The wedding is in September in the Bedfordshire area.
