Ok so could be a dud fan motor
Mine was making a stupid ammount of noise so replaced it. Bit odd for it to just stop working overnight though.
If you are handy then the glovebox needs removing then fairly easy access to the motor from there. Three screws holding it in place. Drop it out and go from there.

Have you sorted it yet? I completely lost all heating control. I had a quick look in the book at the fuses and pulled the 2 fuses in the passenger side next to the glove box and put them back. It worked a treat. Maybe one had worked loose or I reset something. It was the big fuse and fuse 18 if I recall correctly but the manual tells you.
