Heater \ windscreen 99 SE Vert
Discussion
Not sure if this has been covered before but I couldn't find it. My '99 93 SE Vert has a problem with demisting the front screen which I have been looking to rectify for the past few weeks (been like it since I bought it). Today first heavy frost so I thought I better fix it as I don't want to mess about early in the mornings going to the train station. I have googled and read on various forums that it would be "sticky blender flaps" which look like a pain to fix, however I did find the following which may be of interest to fellow Saab owners. You can recalibrate the blender flaps by completing the following on climate control models:
Start the car
press and hold the OFF and AUTO buttons together
the following appeared on my display -22 (no idea what that means)
After a couple of minutes (whiring and clicking noises were heard)
I then turned off the car and restarted, now have air blowing onto screen
