Great customer service
Discussion
Hi all,
Just thought I'd share my recent experience of some excellent customer service, which saved me from my own stupidity!
On Wednesday I managed to lose the only key to my 9-5 Vector on a dark, wet and windy night miles from home (yes, I know ). After a frantic search trying to replace my steps I had no luck and realised I was in the st big time. I got some numbers for auto locksmiths, but all of them bar one didn't do Saab's. Thankfully, the last number I called did and I spoke t a very helpful guy called Terry. Unfortunately he wouldn't be able to get an engineer to the location until the next day (I lost the key late evening).
Having managed to find some accommodation locally, I got a text to say that an engineer would be over to rectify the issue once all the relevant codes had been sourced and data written to the key.
I actually turned up to find the engineer - a top bloke called Jay who told me he owns a 300,000 mile 9000 Aero - already working on the car. Despite some issues with an intermittent engine management fault, which meant the car wouldn't start despite a new key, and battling some pretty awful weather in a less than ideal location, the service was absolutely brilliant, with Terry only a phone call away for advice. He even ran a full diagnostic and managed to turn off the check engine light.
Anyway, thanks to Terry www.saab95autolocksmith.co.uk and Jay www.Jaysautomotiveservices.co.uk, two blokes who really know their Saab's and offer fantastic customer services.
