Possibly going to have a look at one of these. It's running a stage 1 remap, which is estimated to be around 250bhp & 275 ib/ft

Is that an accurate estimation?

How quick can I expect an stage 1 car to be?

The numbers sound right. It will be fast enough to overtake lots of other cars.

What engine is in it though? My 9-3 aero had a Hirsch modification when new and its 280bhp. It's a 2.8 v6 turbo to start with though.

It is extremely fast and rubbish on fuel.

Who cares though.

Ask who done the map - if Saabnoob, you are in good hands.

My 2 litre aero has a saabnoob stage one remap giving just over 250 bhp and its been fantastic. Loads more torque and better fuel economy too.

I'd PM Karl on UKS mate. I've read somewhere ages ago where someone wanted theirs remapped for better fuel economy over oomph but this was on an older T5 car. (That's alien to me! Remap = big grins)

I know my old stage6 9000 with 630's fitted used up a hell of a lot of fuel just standing still! I did 1/4 tank in 25 mins with it running outside the office frown
