1988 900 T16S - AKA F900
300 odd bhp of Classic Saabarama. Should be 320'ish as its going back on the rollers early Jan for some more work on the setup. 0 - 100 in about 12 seconds and the rev-limiter is the only thing that stops it going faster.
Love it buts its under offer at the moment
To fund F9-5 which will be a 350bhp odd 9-5 with lots of toys

Yay Been browsing PistonHeads for a couple of weeks now. Nice to have a Saab area
Unfortunately there's already a nutcase in the house, so I'd better be number 1
My car? 1978 99 Turbo. I got it from a garage that it had sat in for 14 years. It took me a year and a half but I got it on the road, then upped the power a bit. 160bhp with 1.something bar of boost and no intercooler or WI. Standard is 0.7 and I'm only getting a teeny weeny touch of knock flat out as Matt's in-car video of the USD shows
Next step with it is a higher ratio gearbox so I can get nearer 130mph from the 113 peak currently, and then I really need to find space for an intercooler without spoiling the external look of the car. If not, DIY WI it is

Dang! Take eye off ball for a few seconds and blow me, up pops the section while I'm distracted!
Hi all.
New to Saab ownership myself - about 3 months now - and getting steadily more impressed.
9-5 Aero Estate. 2002 - 02 Reg. Auto.
Bought with 97k miles recorded. Now just short of 100k.
Totally standard as far as I know, so 250bhp. How on earth you can live with (or even need) more power I can't imagine - but I'm willing to learn!
The power curve seems to suggest it would pull all the way to double the legal max speed. Maybe I need to put it on track when I have dialled completely in to front wheel drive with turbo power. Today would have been good - first dry day opportunity for months - but had other things to do, sadly.

Hi - Another 9-5 Aero Estate (02) absolutely standard and all the better for it. Can't imagine wanting more power for it - the whole point is that you can get in it and drive the length of the country swiftly and get out feeling like you have just popped to the shops. If I want a blast - there is a Caterham for that. Might change it when I get to 250K !!
