Programming second hand alarm/CL remote to Saab 9-3
Discussion
Hi,
I am normally found lurking around in the TVR sections of Pistonheads but I have a question on my daily, which is a 2001 Saab 9-3 Cab. The remote fob I have that operates the central locking and alarm has broken and I can now only unlock and lock the car by taking the case apart and pressing the buttons with a screwdriver, not ideal! So I bought a secondhand fob off fleabay, and am hoping to sync that with the car and the existing working fob, but don't seem to find a method to do this. Does anybody know of a way?
With other cars I have owned you using the working fob and unlock/lock a load of times and it puts the car in a programming mode then press the button on the new remote and it learns it. Is there summit similar on the Saab?
I am hoping I don't need to pay someone with the Saab technician tool?!
Thanks,
Ben.
