Saab 9-3 aero overheating
Discussion
Hi,
Just had my 9-3 aero overheat after a short journey. Tried again with the same results.
Scenario is - temp gauge sits at 1/2 way up the temp scale. Then suddenly starts rising very quickly until a warning message is flashed up advising to stop & idle.
Having had a quick look online it looks like it could be thermostat? I know very little about cars.
I just had my tyres replaced literally on the journey before at a large well known tyre/ exhaust emporium. Is there anything which the technician could have knocked loose or pinched?
Fluids look OK except for once overheated the fluid is boiling off and appearing under the car.
