Hi

My Saab Aero 2002 9-5 has started 'jolting' ever so slightly when accelerating upto 60 mph.

It's like a little miss fire and I'm wondering if it's spark plugs and is this a common problem ?

Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to resolve it ?

Is it a Petrol Turbo?

IF so if it doesnt like going on full boost it could be the coil pack on the way out.

Im having idle issues at the moment and I think its related to the throttle body, keeps wanting to stall

Where's best place to buy the plugs ? Halfords ? How much did you pay ?

In the end it just stopped and wouldn't start at all but the oil pack sorted that out. However, I am now getting similar symptoms to what you describe frown I've heard it can be the throttle body sticking bit I've checked mine and it's fine. The. He k engine light has also been on but that's gone off now.

I have not had any fault lights,my problem comes & goes but is becoming more frequent,I have also heard it could be the EVAP solenoid plays up,I have cleaned & lubricated but still no difference :-(

Too the car into to DCA Saab this week because the CEL light had been on for a few days and it was chattering off boost.

It was a pipe that had come free from the dump valve. Its running like a dream now. Time to get it tuned smile

Soooo, after having the above work carried out the car wouldn't start one night until it cooled down.

It was the Crankshaft sensor, another £130 down the drain frown

Hopefully you will not need to replace it again for another 60,000 miles + :-)
