Saab 9-3 2.2 TiD --Looking to do her up
Discussion
Hi guys.
I own a Saab 9-3 Tid 2003 model. I was wondering if there any engine modifications for this model, since I would like to give her a bit more go.
I was also wondering if somebody could recommend an exhaust system that might fit? I was thinking about getting a bigger one put on.
Finally, could anybody recommend some good shock absorbers for this model? Preferably something fairly heavy duty?
Really not sure about this as it's the first vehicle I've devoted much time to. Would appreciate anybody's help

Hi Econwatson
I have an '08 9-3 1.9 TiD 150bhp, I spent a very modest £350 (discounted) on an engine re-map on a rolling road at AmD tuning in Essex. It's probably too far for you to go but it's seriously improved the performance of the car. Bhp at the flywheel now at 200 but it's the torque that's gone up significantly, now pushing nearly 300 foot pound. I don't think I'd want more than this really as I fear for the clutch!
