Hi Guys,

My 9-5 has sprung a leak from the metal power steering supply hose that runs along the chassis leg just below the crank pulley - it has a tiny pinhole in it but enough to cover everything in oil aft of that!

There is a union just ahead of the leak and I'm hoping I can get away with just changing the rear section of the supply hose - has anyone done this and how difficult is it? Changing the front half looks like a horror job...

I have some spare hose & PAS pump in my garage currently (Hertfordshire) if it's of any use to you? It was supplied in error as my leak turned out to be ATF fluid from a well-corroded hose under the radiator.

Hi, thanks for the offer, I'm getting it sorted at Saabtech. It's something I would normally do myself but I'm working the next two weekends and really need it back on the road. 80miles a day at night in the TF is doing my ears in with the noise and eyes in with the dazzling headlights all around!

Seems quite a common problem on older SAABs now, I did change my oil cooler hoses a while ago and urge you all to have peek at yours from time to time as they rot well.
