Fuel Filter (56 Reg 9-3 1.9 TiD 150)

As the Saab (or slug as it's been nicknamed by the family) was meant as a 'cheap stop gap car' I'm servicing it myself tomorrow.

I want to change the fuel filter but the local motor factors brought 2 up when looking on the registration number, a cartridge type and a screw in one. He couldn't tell which I needed and suggested I bought both and returned the wrong one, problem is 1 was £32 the other was £12! Any ideas which one I need?

Also any things I should know about changing either one??

Sorted.....it was the cartridge metal housing type @ £32.
