Saab 9-3 question
Discussion
Hi all I have a 2008 9-3 ttid. Had it a year, great car, no issues. Had it serviced a couple of months ago but the garage must not have reset the service indicator because as of last week every time I start the car it says 'time for service'...
Any idea how I get rid of this message?
Thanks, Wayne

Not sure if this will work on the 9-3, but this is how I reset mine on my old 9-5 TiD (2008):

Ignition on but car not started.
Foot on brake.
Press clear button and held until is said "SERVICE". Took about 10 seconds ish.
Took the key out and tried again, and now it's just saying "OK" (Or is it "Check OK"?)

Hi
I have my TTid serviced by a friend who works at a BMW specialist, and if I take the car in before the service indicator comes on, he can't reset the system either manually or with his computer.
However, he has provided me with a photo of the procedure which I have attached, hope this helps.
Will be doing mine tomorrow, he serviced the car a month ago, and it has just come on this week!
