Hi

Just purchased a very low mileage estate version (40K). I'm no expert but all seemed pretty good - all the basic checks seemed fine.

Should there be anything i need to look out for and be aware of?

Thanks

Not an expert on those, but I believe oil sludging to be the major culprit... as with all 9-5s. Get it to a mechanic to drop and clean the sump, and to change to the latest PVC system. Might also want to put in fully synthetic oil while you're at it to prevent future sludging.

get the car remapped

do the sump, costs about 150- 200
new pvc system

check power steering fluid, the car will start whining if its not at least 3 quarters full.
