1.9tid remaps ?

I have a 2006 9-3 Sportwagon with the 150hp 1.9 tid engine. The performance is disappointing, and even driving gently I'm struggling to get much over 40mpg. Can anyone recommend a remap ? I'm more interested in improving fuel economy than acceleration, although there is a noticeable flatspot below 2000 rpm which I'd like to resolve. The car has a new EGR valve and inlet manifold if that makes a difference.

I have my TTiD Hirsch'd got an excellent deal on it better then the published one.

but car feels a lot better and mpg has gone up a bit as well.

Sounds like there is a problem with it in some way.. My old car with that engine got 50+ without really trying..

Hi,
I have a 2010 1.9 Tdi and only get 42 -44 mpg never had anything near 48 mpg + in 122000 miles.
