Help required - I own one of these Saabs with 60K on the clock. Can someone advise me what make and model number the tyres would have been when this car was originally registered in 1998 and furthermore, are these tyres still the best to have fitted today for comfort and ride etc ? If not, what would you suggest.

Thank you

John

Have you got 15" or 16" wheels?

15" run 196-60-15
16" usually have 205-50-16 but 205-55-16 are a Saab approved alternative and I would recommend 55 profiles for that better ride and they're usually cheaper than 50's.

As for tyre make I leave that to somebody else to pick up on. It depends on whether you want ultimate grip or long life.

The best and cheapest thing you can do for a 9-3 is to double up the rear anti-roll bar. It transforms the cornering behavior for <£20.
