Hello everybody - I need a bit of help and I am not mechanically minded. I own a Saab
9-3 Se first registered 19 11 98 and with 63K genuine miles. Yesterday, whilst traveling up the M6,
the dashboard light came on stating CHECK ENGINE. I pulled into the service station, checked the oil, which was low and topped it up. Everything under the bonnet looked OK and I proceeded and drove home - about 50 miles.

This morning, I have started the engine and driven to the local town and back with no problem and no obvious issues, such as strange noises ! However, the warning light stays on.

Can somebody give me some advice here

Thank you

John

Hi John, you really need to get someone/a garage to pull and read the codes to ascertain why the check engine light is on.. Probably a sensor gone somewhere.
