Sounds interesting! I have the same car and may well be interested in doing the same!

Mind me asking how much it cost? Also did you have to send off your ECU or did you do a swap?

If maptun maps are 520, take at least £440 off that price thumbup

I drove to his house and he mapped it there and then. Took me out with an OB2 reader to make sure it was all okay and we went on a run up a dual carriageway to make sure it was all good.

Email him with your requirements, just google noobtune and youll find it smile

I too have visited Karl and know that dual carriageway!
Karl's a really nice guy and the price he does the mapping for is amazing.

ok, tried upping the power by bunging in an aero ECU, made no difference strangely so I'm wondering what's been done to it

Odd. My dad had it from a couple of years old and no evidence of any upgrades. Certainly nothing by my dad.

It's on my to-do list as well smile

Can you keep an eye on your mpg and update us when your initial enjoyment of the extra power has settled down hehe ?

I'd be interested in knowing if there is much difference as my 07 Aero 'vert is noticeably thirsty even with the standard mapoing

cheers smile

Sounds amazing!

Would that include 2002 93 Aero...?

(Having said that, mine struggles to handle it's stock engine spec even with steering rack brace/poly bushes/Abbot springs/Koni dampers., etc., etc.....)
