SAAB 93 wing mirror - how much!! New SAAB buyers beware!!!

Not sure if SAAB spares prices have risen to extortionate levels since the companies demise.. The wifes 93 Convertible wing mirror glass fell off & smashed when closing the door. A call to local SAAB dealer - £120+VAT for the glass!!
Obviously I then paid £10 for a Chinese copy from the bay of E. But £120 seems absolute madness. I hope other parts are affordable when needed, especially in a hurry.
I had to buy a universal cut ot size stick on job while waiting for the other one. At least it was legal, but it was like looking into a fairground hall of mirrors..
So if you are considering buying a SAAB at seemingly affordable prices, consider the potential costs in the future.

PartsForSaabs have genuine at £117 or OEM at £20.

I guess they don't sell many genuine.

I've just had a c.v. joint fail, £400 ish for a new Saab driveshaft, or £67 including vat and delivery for a used one from neo brothers! I chose the latter obviously.
