Hi all just after abit of advice, I've a saab 9-3 1998 2.0 non turbo convertible with 90k miles on it, love this car after previously owning a mondeo st200 i bought the saab a year and half ago as something abit cheaper to run and insure, well driving home friday in snow I lost control coming down a hill round a bend and smashed into a traffic island!! the bodywork is completely intact (don't build them like that anymore!) but the whole of the steering rack and track control arms are knackered as well as various other parts, been quoted £400 in parts and £70 quid labour, also need to de buckle 2 of the 18" alloys it came with, all in all gunna cost about £600 to get it up and running and back road worthy my main question is this, is it worth repairing?? as i was thinking of upgrading to a 2.0 turbo 9-3, or just stripping down and sell as parts? any advice would be appreciated cheers

I'd personally put the money towards a new one.

Yes, agree, better off spending the money towards something newer.

After You've spent that much, might as well get a new one.

Didnt know you could get a 2.0 non turbo.
I thought the option was 2.0 turbo or 2.3 non turbo
