2009 Saab 9-3 TiD Turbo Edition tyre sizes?

I have a 2009 9-3 TiD Turbo Edition. It currently has 235/45x17's all round although when I enter the reg details into one of the online tyre supply sites it show's a 225 size tyre.

I'll be changing all 4 tyres soon. Does it make a difference what I fit, 225's or 235's?

Hi

I have an 05 Aero rag top on 17" rims, and an 09 Aero 180 TTid on 18" rims, both have 225 x 45 tyre's, heavy durt rated

Thanks for the reply. Had a good deal on 4x p-zero nero's extra load in the 225 size. I'm pretty sure that either 225 or 235 is suitable for the rims on my car and the 225's are around £20 each less expensive.

I should have mentioned it, I have just had some fitted at Halfords, but ordered on line at www.tyresavings.com prices were the lowest I could find. Halfords were closest local fitter

Mine were £96 plus a few penny's from Black Circles but I rang the local fitter direct who came in at £91. I'll give yours a try since mine aren't being done until Tuesday.

Feel quite good now The Nero XL is £99.32 per tyre via the link you posted.
