It should say on the casting. Mitsu TE05 (iirc) on the Aero / last year of Anni (225bhp), Garett in the 200bhp. My 97R Anni still has the Garett, I assume just 98 Anni's have the Aero spec engine.

ETA: Sorry, I meant TD04 - the TE05 is the turbo off the later T16S IIRC.

Should be the 200bhp I would expect. The Aero wheels were an option, my dad's 96 Anni had them. My 97 Anni had the 15" multispokes but I got a set of the Aeros. Is this your blue one?

I don't have it yet, needed a replacement for my 98 Aero and this is the closest I've come

Even if it is a FPT 200bhp model a remap will see you to Aero power and above...I only changed to a TD04 because I broke the T25 and didn't see the point in replacing it with another T25 when I could get the TD04 for the same price.

Actually here, some pics of both turbos to help

The 2 side by side out of the car TD04 on the right, Garrett on left.

Hope this helps smile

Not just Anniversaries - my 1998 model (R-plate late 97 registered I think) 2.3 FPT had the Aero engine but was not an Anniversary.
