Saab 9-5 Aero Engine warning light?

After a recent 150 mile journey i've started getting a variation in revs when the engine is ticking over.Engine warning light has also come on.Car has been running perfectly so im a bit confused about this.I'm taking it in to be looked at but if anyone can shed any light on what this might be........

Idle Control valve maybe. You need to get the fault codes read to be sure.

What mileage has the car done? We started getting this with our 9-5 SE and it rapidly turned into not idling at all (plus the TCS fail light came on too at the point). Car needed a new throttle body (apparently CE and TCS lights together are a classic indicator of this)
