Thinking of Changing my Saab for a Saab
Discussion
I brought a saab 93 TID in January as I have been doing some big miles for work.
This is now changing and I fancy something quicker.
Thoughts are to Sell or swap my 2005 1.9TID Sport and look for a 93 Aero 2.0T or of possible the V6.
Wise decision or madness,
I know mpg will be massively reduced but that I can cope with.
Cheers

I have an 05 2.0T Aero rag top with Hirche re-map, and an 09 TTid Aero sports wagon.
Very easy decission, the 2.0T every time!
Yes, the TTid does a few more mpg, and isn't a slow car, but the way the 2.0T delivers the power is far nicer than the TTid.
Also I would be interested in knowing how you drive a 2.0T and get 40mpg (very slowly I would guess?), the manufacturers data states 30mpg, I generally get 31mpg on a run, max 33mpg.

I get 26-27mpg out and about and roughly 31 on a run. (my wastegate actuator rod has been shortened slightly however)
