Given that Saab are no more, is it still a sensible choice to buy one given that there's no manufacturer to back them up? Are parts a problem?

I'm tempted by something like this y'see: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2012...

As far as i know Saab Parts is a seperate company that's still running unaffected by Saabs issues.

General service parts are pretty much all interchangeable with vauxhall stuff.

There's always plenty being broken on eBay, too...

Wouldn't worry one bit.

I've been trying to avoid thinking too much about this.

Very very tempted to trade in my 330d for a 9-3 Estate a few years younger....

meh - we're in the process of swapping our 9-5 SE estate for a 9-5 aero estate - not worried about saab going - T K Autos in edenfield still has enough spare parts to keep us going for a couple of decades
