what oil

i,m due to pick up my 02 9-5 aero friday and want to give it an oil change soon as.i,ve spoken to a few independents and saab but still not sure what grade oil to use.any help would be great

5-30 fully synthetic in mine - don`t be tempted by `semi synthetic` which will not be as much as 50% synth. LONG history of problems with sludge on this engine due to breather problems & the wrong oil - have a search on UK saabs or Saabscene or Saabcentral. Be nice to see some evidence of a sump drop & clean. Excellent instructions on Serious Saab website. Lots of people swear by Mobil 1 - Opie oils do some good deals.

cheers.will be using fully synthetic.most people ive spoken to have said the 5-30. abbott racing said 10-60 which is a bit odd.waiting to see whats been done by main dealer before getting sump dropped.
