9-3 Autos...all bad?

Been reading about these and seems the diesel autobox gets a bad rep.

Is there the same issues with a petrol auto as well?

Have two 9-3 aeros in the family a 2.0T auto and 2.8T manual. A lot of the time I prefer the auto as it is just such an easy drive. It is a bit slow to change if you are in a hurry, but the manual option works pretty well, although is slow to up-change so you have to press the + button a second or two before you actually want to change up.

Can't comment on the diesel ones though.
