2006 Saab 9-3 1.9 TiD all in one rubber coated key

CR2032 - It recommends either Sony or Panasonic in the manual.
Obviously any make will work but i'd be tempted to use the better makes for the sake of an extra quid or so.
Change the battery with the car unlocked. As soon as you put the new battery in the fob put the key in the ignition and start the car. This makes sure the key stays synced with the car. Do this with both keys.
If you can't unlock the car due to duff battery then when you've replaced it you only have a couple of unlocks/locks before it loses sync. So i'd be tempted to do it with the metal key, before.
