I have recently brought a Saab 2005 9-3 TID 120bhp.

I love the car but want a bit more go, I was after the 150bhp model but this was a great car and with low miles on it.

I have looked on uksaabs.co.uk but drawn a blank.

Can anyone recommend a good remap place either mobile or at a location around Worcester / Birmingham.

Cheers

Look for Vauxhall tuners, too. Same engine.

Cheers all,

What's preferable a remap or a TDI tuning box, a decent one not a ebay £80 jobby.

I got my 9-5 remapped at http://www.p-torque.co.uk/ in Wolverhampton which isn't too far from you.

Shortly after, my EGR valve and DPF went, though have been okay since that (£800 ish) hiccup. Mine's gone from 150BHP to 185BHP - can definitely feel the difference.

From what I've read, remaps are preferred to Tuning Boxes.. See Saab Tech Talk or UKSaabs forums for more details.

I have personally used Speedparts on my petrol 9-3 and thats always been great. Mines 270bhp now though wink

I am not sure, but didn't Abbot have a bit of a 'unreliable' name with some tuning??? May be totally wrong.

Also check out www.partsforsaabs.co.uk and www.neobrothers.co.uk

I would normally recomend Elkparts but sadly it is no more.

Good luck and happy Saabing.
