Just won a 1007 Saab 900 SE Turbo on ebay.

It is a 3dr in dark blue, with cream leather, manual box. Last owner 14yrs, 110k miles, new MOT etc.

I'm presuming this is the 175bhp version, whats the first step to liberating a bit more puff?

Can't wait to pick it up...

Jeeez - I know the old 900s were pretty bullet-proof but a pre Norman conquest one still going strong....

Got my 9-5 in march for the princely sum of £700! just sailed thru it's mot today with no advisories.
For the money there great, cruise, climate, heated, chilled seats etc and it still all works

go to uksaabs website, and ask someone for a remap
i did just that, and i got the car remapped for £50 and got 30 more bhp taking it to 235, and 0-60 in 6.3 ,..,not bad

your car has the 185bhp if i presume its the 1997 model

Bit confused, I understand getting a manual boost controller, carefully winding it up to 14.5/15 PSI ish to go from circa 185 to 225 ish. How does a 'remap' work in relation to this if similar power is offered? Can they work in conjunction with each other?
