3.0 TiD?

Any experience of this engine? Considering it in an automatic 9-5, ~120,000 miles on it, 52 plate?

I have a 53 plate 3.0 tid with 91k on the clock.I havent had any problems at all but the engines dont get the best name, I check the oil and water pretty much weekly and all seems well so far. The car has a tuning box fitted and it pulls well to say the least.

Thanks - after posting, I googled it and scared myself silly, chickened out and today bought a 2.3T Aero instead

My 2004 3.0tid 9-5 estate is also running fine with 114k on the clock (32k by me over the past 2.5 years). I was offered the car at a very good price so I took the plunge, despite some of the scare stories I'd read, and "touch wood" apart from routine servicing and tyres I've only had to replace the battery.
